seriously. I found it is a big idea to have a keyboard case for the thing you did.

We did have this idea in mind when designing Vivid Unit. It is definitely feasible on technical aspect. We also have other very interesting ideas for extension of Vivid Unit.

However when converting idea to product we have to consider the cost, especially when the product needs mold injection -- that's very expensive. Vivid Unit itself uses two mold injected ABS braces, so we know how much they cost.

With that said, we may do it when we see the demand is rather big. Before that we encourage Vivid Unit users to design the case that fit their needs. It is also feasible with 3D printing. You are very welcome to share what you have built here, or on platforms like X (Twitter), Facebook, Instructables etc.

Hi, my name is Lee. I would be interested in a case incorporating a small reduced size keyboard. I have a 3D printer myself but I’m not quite a professional user. I’m a hobbyist and could consider doing it myself to build a “deck”.

thanks for the device. I’m enjoying it now

Lee
