Witty Pi Mini 3 displays an installation error on Raspi Zero W. The same Raspi Zero W (Linux 6.12 Trixie) works correctly on Witty Pi 3. The message from wittyPi.sh shows: Seems Witty Pi board is not connected? Quitting...
But white LED is blinking and tap switch turns the Raspi Zero on/off.
A second (new) Witty Pi Mini 3 shows the same error. Another Raspberry Pi Zero W also shows no improvement.
Any Tips?

I can see you are using the wrong version of software for Witty Pi 3 (Mini).

  • Software version 3.xx is for Witty Pi 3 (Standard or Mini)
  • Software version 4.xx is for Witty Pi 4 (Standard, Mini or L3V7)
  • Software version 5.xx is for Witty Pi 5 HAT+

The software can not find the hardware because it is expecting I2C device with different address.

@nokellner If you look into the log, you can see your newly saved installation scripted is named "install.sh.3" (because there is already a file named "install.sh" in that directory), and you still used "sudo sh install.sh", which actually used the old file.
