Hi

I have Witty 4 L3V7 connected to raspberry pi zero 2w and 5" LCD screen. To witty I connected 4x18600 batteries in parallel.

After I disconnect USB power, after 10 minutes or so the entire setup starts loop of shutdown and turning on, while turning on is even not completed, 5 seconds after starting turning on it turns off and immediately starting turning on. Kinda boot loop.

What can be an issue here?

Please advise.

Thanks

Looks more like a battery issue. Witty Pi itself doesn't have a boot loop logic, it is likely that your Raspberry Pi can not finish the boot and it forces itself to reboot.

I'd suggest to monitor the voltage of your battery (set) when testing again.

@admin

Thanks for your quick reply.

I also suspecting the bataries, but the turning oin ia confusing me a bit, as far as I understand witty 4 L3V7 can turn off the raspberry pi when battery (voltage) is low, and then turn it on when battery voltage is good again. So, how come that it's high enough to turn on and then too low to continue the boot a d shutting it down.

@slavag Witty Pi can only "see" the voltage from your battery (set). It measures the voltage with the ADC in MCU.

It is possible that in previous moment the voltage was high enough but then it drops quickly during the boot.
