                    Hi,
In my eternal quest to make the runinng time of my raspberry pi zero 2 last longer on usb power banks I read that it MAY be possible to reduce the voltage going in to 4V or even 3.7V. For this i would need a step-down. But does your board support this or will it get damaged?

Witty Pi 4 L3V7 only outputs 5V to Raspberry Pi.
Lowering Pi's working voltage is out of specification.
In theory it is possible to modify the feedback voltage detection circuilt to change the output of DC/DC, but we do not recommend to do so and can not provide support on this.

                    Understood and thank you
